I'm Sean Howen, a technology-minded leader, consultant, and advisor with more than two decades of experience leading teams and solving complex problems around the world.
My career began in the U.S. Army, where I've had the opportunity to lead people and organizations through everything from military operations and global events to technology, strategy, and organizational transformation. Those experiences shaped how I approach challenges today: stay curious, build genuine relationships, simplify complexity, and focus on outcomes that matter.
I hold a master's degree in Information Systems and Data Analytics and have a deep interest in emerging technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and how these tools can help organizations and people work smarter.
Outside of work, I'm a husband, father, lifelong learner, and adventurer. Whether I'm exploring new technology, jumping out of airplanes, training in the gym, or spending time with my family, I believe the best life is one that never stops moving forward.

Who I am outside work
I'm happily married with two boys who never sit still — and neither do we. Between skiing, dirt bikes, hiking, and traveling, our family is happiest outside, chasing the next adventure (usually with a dog or two in tow). They're the reason I lead the way I do: show up, stay curious, and never stop moving forward.
I believe leadership doesn't stop at the office door — it's needed just as much in our communities. I'm growing my involvement with Civil Air Patrol, exploring a role with the local Rotary Club, and hoping to bring that same commitment to Cisco's Crisis Response Unit. Early in my career, I supported disaster response efforts during Hurricane Katrina and several California wildfires — and I still feel called to support emergency and essential services today.
